This weekend was a funny one, after steve and I drank so much on Sat. at our friends wedding, we woke up to realize that my clock said 8:30 and all the others said 9:30. (My clock is one of those clocks that has a signal in it that it automatically changes for time change. pretty nifty!) So I said, Crap! Time change was last night! (remembering that when you go to a bar the Sat. before Halloween, you get to stay out longer because its fall backward....so when it turns midnight, its 11:00 all of a sudden) SO I tell Steve that it is WAY too early to get up....I mean, come on 8:30 when you are hungover?!?!
We started getting confused when the cable box said 9:30 and surely the cable box will know what time it is. So we turn on the TV to CNN and it said 11:30, which is east coast time. so then I started to think that my clock is the one that is wrong and every other clock in the house is right! so we decided it was 9:30 and got up. we went out and grabbed breakfast, got in my car....and to my amazement- my clock in the car changed! it was fantastic! every clock around me was right! AND I did not have to change ANY of them!! although, we were still skeptical so we still were not sure what the correct time really was. Maybe my clock was right and every other clock was wrong!
So I get to my moms house later that day, looked at all her clocks, and they were on the same page with the clock on my phone. SO I told her that daylight savings happened last night and that her clocks switched too! I was amazed....even her clock with hands changed!! it was great!

Then....she tells me that daylight savings is not happening until THIS upcoming weekend. WTF?!?! so I have been confused all day (does not take much) and clocks never changed at all!??! I was disappointed b/c I thought there was new technology around me that the clocks knew what the hell was going on. Well...my clock was made awhile back and yes, this is the weekend we ALWAYS do daylight savings....but our stupid president decides to do something nice for a change and save energy. I had no idea.....
